Movie mavens will have a chance to re-view this year’s Oscar award nominees prior to the ceremonies, thanks to Public Libraries of Saginaw.
Casual fans may see them for the first time.
Butman-Fish will show three of them on Saturday, March 4. The tripleheader begins with Turning Red at 9:30 a.m., followed by Top Gun: Maverick at 11:30 a.m. and Elvis at 2 p.m.
On the same day, at 1:30 p.m., Hoyt will air Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
The fifth nominee, Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris, is set for a showing at the Zauel branch at 7 p.m. March 8, which is a Wednesday.
Admission is not free, but rather part of the property taxes we pay for our libraries, which means there is no cost at the door.
The Oscars telecast is slated for 8 p.m. Sunday, March 12, on Channel 12, WJRT.
