This week STARS rolled out a route to Hemlock Semiconductor called the HSC Silicon Express. This route will include round-trip service to the STARS Plaza (615 Johnson St.), the Ricker Center in Buena Vista Township, the Walmart parking lot on State Street, ending at Hemlock Semiconductor. This service is available to the public for $5 each way. Hemlock Semiconductor assists employees with bus fare costs for the route. The route departs from STARS at 6AM and 6PM 7 days a week.
“STARS is excited to start this new Public/Private partnership with such a large and regionally important employer. HSC is yet another example of a company which stands to benefit greatly by partnering with local transit services,” said Glenn Steffens, STARS Executive Director.
