Saginaw-Shiawassee Habitat for Humanity will bring together volunteers from across the Great Lakes Bay Region beginning Wednesday, June 14 as they kick off their neighborhood revitalization project in the City of Saginaw, Covenant Neighborhood.

Working in conjunction with the homeowners, volunteers from Covenant HealthCare (title sponsor), Frankenmuth Credit Union (volunteer sponsor), Consumers Energy (communications sponsor), area community groups, churches and regional businesses will work to restore owner-occupied homes. Volunteers will participate in painting, light landscaping and more.

Revitalization dates are June 14, 15, 16, 17, 21, 22, 23. Volunteers will work in shifts from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 12:30 to 5:00 p.m. Lunch will be served for all volunteers from 12 to 12:30 p.m.

People of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to join us and volunteer. No experience necessary. Volunteers may register in person the week of the project at 1107 N. Oakley, Saginaw. Signage will help guide interested parties.
