The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will close three lanes of M-13 (Washington Avenue) at I-675 in the city of Saginaw to repair the I-675 overpass following damage to the bridge after an MDOT excavator failed to properly assess the height of equipment being hauled through the corridor and hit the overpass.

M-13 will have one lane open in each direction at I-675, with traffic shifted.

The work is expected to be completed by September 20.
