The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Great Lakes Bay Region has named Lynn Pavlawk as the organization’s next chief executive officer following a unanimous vote by its board of directors.

“I am honored and excited to bring my passion to work with me each day as a leader for this excellent organization,” Pavlawk said. “My goal is to continue to lead this organization forward by developing strong partnerships and extending outreach to all youths in our communities.”

As CEO, Pavlawk will oversee the organization’s strategic direction, resource development, brand reputation, talent recruitment, and stakeholder relationships. Furthermore, she will ensure the delivery of quality programming across the organization’s six clubs in Saginaw and Bay Counties, which collectively serve 798 young people.

“With 30 years of proven experience leading strategic initiatives to drive growth, improve performance, and achieve success, we believe Lynn is the right person to lead the clubs in our region,” Board President Ty Mier said.

Before joining the Boys & Girls Club of the Great Lakes Bay Region, Pavlawk honed her leadership expertise while in management roles with Mobex Global, Nexteer Automotive, General Motors, and Delphi. Most recently, Pavlawk served as the general manager of operations for Bay City Bridge Partners, where she spearheaded foundational infrastructure improvements for the community.

“Throughout my career, I have found that success is predicated on clear communication,” Pavlawk said. “In the next twelve months, we will focus on building relationships with our families, partners, and patrons that are not transactional, but transformational.”

According to Pavlawk, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Great Lakes Bay Region is positioned to experience exceptional growth in 2024. In the coming months, she plans to invite more young people than ever to “join the club,” multiplying the organization’s impact in both rural and urban communities. With scholarship opportunities available, she also pledged that cost will “never be a barrier to participation in our programs.”

“Any family seeking positive programs for young people should explore the opportunities at our clubs,” Pavlawk said. “We provide an unparalleled experience and a safe place for children to learn, play, and grow.”
