Effective Monday, April 29, the west entrance of City Hall will be closed for all use and access to the building will be through the east entrance, which faces Washington Avenue. As the closed west entrance is the designated handicap entrance to the  building, temporary handicap accessibility will be provided through the east entrance to  City Hall on Washington Avenue. Temporary handicap ramps have been installed to route visitors to the south of the building, and then to the east entrance ramp. All ramps are ADA compliant and have handrails. The west entrance will remain closed for  approximately three months while work on the exterior area near the entrance is  completed.

Parking is available in the west City Hall parking lot and the Public Works lot, located at 1435 Washington Avenue. Visitors may also park along the curb in front of City Hall on Washington Avenue but should be aware the only curb cut for handicap accessibility is at the intersection of Holland and Washington. The Payment Drop Box, located in the west parking lot, will remain accessible throughout the project.

For additional information on the HVAC and Mechanical Upgrade Project, contact the City Manager’s Office at (989) 759-1403.
