We’re excited to announce that Buena Vista Charter Township has an open fellowship position for portions of 2023 and 2024.
Our fellow (a term that also pertains to females, of course) will work with our team for 15 months on projects that strengthen ties between our residents and ultimately improve the quality of life in Buena Vista. This individual will play a vital role by adding more capacity to our programs so we can accomplish all the goals we’ve set as a community.
The fellowship is managed by the Community Economic Development Association of Michigan (CEDAM), with support from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC). This is a full-time, salaried 15-month position beginning May 2023. The deadline to apply is March 5th.
What do fellows do? Fellows make an impact on their host community by supporting or leading a variety of projects that will help add organizational capacity, increase local collaboration, and remove barriers to development. In the past, they’ve taken on projects like creating marketing plans, working on zoning initiatives, securing grant funding, and much more.
