At a Special Meeting on Monday, September 18, the Saginaw Township Community Schools Board of Education approved a slate of four candidates to interview for the position of superintendent:
- Matt Cairy, Former Superintendent of Freeland Community Schools
- Jamie Kraatz, Director of Learning, Curriculum and Assessment, Saginaw Township Community Schools
- Patrick Malley, Chief Academic Officer, Bay City Public Schools
- Lisa Tran, Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Instruction and Early Childhood, Saginaw Public Schools
The interviews will take place at Arrowwood Conference Center, 5410 Seidel Road as follows:
- Lisa Tran – Monday, September 25, 5:45 p.m.
- Patrick Malley – Monday, September 25, 7:30 p.m.
- Matt Cairy – Tuesday, September 26, 5:00 p.m.
- Jamie Kraatz – Tuesday, September 26, 6:45 p.m.

The district is comprised of eight elementary, middle and high schools within Saginaw Township and serves nearly 4,600 students.
