Dow Credit Union has announced the grand opening celebration of its new branch in Saginaw scheduled for September 25-29, 2023.

Located at 5420 Gratiot Road, the 3,600-square-foot branch will be open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Spurred by growth in the Saginaw region, this is the first branch to open outside of the credit union’s Midland headquarters.

Michael Goad

“Our strong digital banking services have enabled us to serve many Saginaw members through the years, but this new location will enable even greater involvement in the region as we continue to reach and serve the community”, said Dow Credit Union President and CEO Michael Goad. “Our team looks forward to building new relationships in the greater Saginaw community and providing valuable in-person services to our growing Saginaw member base.”

Emily Migut

The new branch will feature a team of experienced employees, led by Member Experience Manager Emily Migut, who will offer a full range of services, including account creation, loan origination and more.

In her new role, Migut will oversee daily operations, manage the Saginaw team and ensure members receive outstanding care. She has spent nine years as a branch banking professional in the Great Lakes Bay region.

“I’m honored to lead the team at our new branch, connect with members and support the community not only through our remarkable financial products and services, but through our community investment and volunteerism,” Migut said. “The skills I acquired in my previous roles have prepared me for this exciting new leadership opportunity at Dow Credit Union where I’m delighted to support its growth, member satisfaction and community relations.”

“Our success as a credit union comes from putting our members first – ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to make the best decisions for themselves, their families and communities,” Goad continues. “This new office will enable us to better deliver that success to our growing membership in Saginaw.”

Along with the grand opening festivities, there will be a ribbon cutting at the new location on Friday, October 19, 2023.
