Career seekers who are currently in the region or have left and are interested in ‘coming home’ are invited to attend a hiring mixer on October 26, from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Pierce Road Bar and Grill, 2903 Pierce Road, for a casual networking experience where job seekers will have the opportunity to meet 30 regional employers who are hiring. Employers from Saginaw, Bay, Midland, and Arenac counties will be looking to connect with career seekers of all levels, from high school seniors to seasoned employees. Participating employers have open positions in healthcare, skilled trades, engineering, finance, teaching, construction, business and more.
The event is hosted by Saginaw Future Inc., Arenac County Economic Development Corporation, Bay Future, Inc., and the Midland Business Alliance. Grant support has been provided by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, along with assistance from the Great Lakes Bay Regional Alliance.
