The Marshall M. Fredericks Sculpture Museum at Saginaw Valley State University is hosting “Saginaw Art Jamboree: Hispanic Heritage Month & Halloween Edition” on Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.
The free event will include various local art vendors. Along with shopping, attendees can participate in a sugar skull decorating activity to celebrate Dia de los Muertos. The sugar skull activity will be led by Alberto Jimenez from the Mexican American Council. The museum will provide other hands-on activities, including making your own museum button, coloring, and more.
Special arts and crafts available for purchase will include original paintings, prints, beaded jewelry, stickers, self-published comics, crochet plushies, and much more.

The “Saginaw Art Jamboree” is scheduled to return to the museum on Saturday, Dec. 9. Stay tuned for 2024 dates.
